The Street Keys Key Code Service is pleased to announce the Text Message Program for the convenience of our key code requestors.
What is the Text Message Program?
• This feature will allow you to use short text messages to both place and receive key code orders using your mobile phone.
Why sign up for Text Message Program?
• It’s usually cheaper than a voice call.
• Sending text messages are usually easier than emails.
• You can text orders when it’s inconvenient to call or email.
• You can order by text messaging at times when a voice call won’t work.
• It’s a reliable and accurate way to keep records of each request you make.
How much does this cost?
• The Text Message Program is free from Street Keys and KeylessRide. You’ll only be subject to normal text message fees from your mobile phone provider.
Who can use the Text Message Program?
• Only customers who have both text message features on their mobile phones and whose companies have submitted the required documents to set up a key code account with us can use this program.
How do I place an order using a text message?
1) Enter the Code 41411
2) Type in “KEYCODE” in the message field and add a space
3) Input the VIN numbers (separated by a space) in the message field for each key code request
How do I receive codes requested by text message?
• All codes requested by text message are sent directly to your mobile phone.
How do I get set up?
• Log in to your account or call us at 866.289.5397 or 866.BUY.KEYS to register the name(s), mobile phone number(s), and mobile phone carriers for each company contact who may request codes by text.
